Baked Spiced Pears with Raspberry Sauce

                Ingredients

                • 4 pears
                • 2-3 tbsp butter
                • 1/2 cup sugar
                • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
                • 1/8 tsp cloves
                • 1 package frozen or fresh raspberries

                Instructions

                1. Peel and core pears, slice in half, leaving stems on.
                2. Place in covered pan at 375°F for about 30-35 minutes.
                3. Place 2-3 tbsp butter cut in small pieces around pan.
                4. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp cloves around pears.
                5. Place pears cut side down, cover, and bake.
                6. Turn pears about halfway through.
                7. Remove pears and set aside.
                8. Mix 1 package of frozen or fresh raspberries with liquid in pan and cook until bubbly.
                9. Spoon over pears.
