Instructions

1

Put ham bone in pot and cover with water. Bring to boil, then turn down burner and simmer.

2

Defrost the frozen spinach and put in pot with ham bone.

3

Peel a couple of potatoes and cut in small pieces and put in pot with ham bone and spinach.

4

Simmer for a while and check to see if potatoes are cooked. Once potatoes are soft, add the sour cream.

5

Take a bowl and put the sour cream in the bowl. Add about 2 tablespoons of flour and whisk till flour dissolves.

6

Using a big bowl, put a ladle of soup in the sour cream and flour. Stir around to make smooth. Do this to prevent curdling.

7

Once the sour cream and flour mixture is lukewarm you can put in in the soup.

8

Simmer soup while the flour thickens the soup a little. The soup should be smooth without any lumps of sour cream or flour.

9

Serve with warm rolls and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top
