Peanut Butter and Jelly Cake
This delightful Peanut Butter and Jelly Cake transforms a classic sandwich flavor into a moist, rich dessert. The cake is infused with peanut butter and topped with creamy whipped topping and jelly glaze. A sprinkle of chopped peanuts adds a crunchy finishing touch.
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and peanut butter until crumbly.
Add melted butter, milk, and eggs. Mix until just incorporated; the batter will be slightly chunky.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased 9x13 inch cake pan.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool on the counter for 15 minutes.
Using a rounded kitchen utensil, poke holes across the top of the cake.
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat 1 cup of jelly in 30-second intervals until runny. Pour evenly over the top of the cake.
Refrigerate the cake for 2 hours to cool completely.
Once chilled, spread the whipped topping over the cake.
Microwave the remaining jelly and peanut butter together until runny and pour over the topping.
If desired, garnish with chopped peanuts before serving.
