Kahlua
This is a homemade Kahlua recipe dedicated to the memory of Delmar Maier (Seward County Clerk 1986 - 1996)

Mix 1 c. boiling water with coffee, set aside.

Mix 3 c. water and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer for 20 minutes, remove from heat.

Add vanilla, let stand until cool.

Mix sugar water, coffee and whiskey thoroughly.

Pour into glass containers and let age.
