These deliciously rich chocolate chunk cookies are made with dark brown sugar and chunks of dark chocolate for a perfectly chewy and chocolatey treat. Sprinkled with flaky sea salt for an extra touch of flavor.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a separate large bowl, beat the room temperature butter with the dark brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
Mix in the vanilla extract and honey (or corn syrup) until combined.
Add the egg and beat until fully incorporated.
Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
Fold in the chopped dark chocolate chunks.
Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Flatten them slightly.
Sprinkle a small pinch of flaky sea salt over each cookie.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges and still soft in the center.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
