                Delicious homemade scones with nuts and dried fruit, perfect for breakfast or a teatime treat.

                Ingredients

                • 3 cups flour
                • 1 tablespoon baking powder
                • 1 pinch salt
                • 1 1/2 sticks butter, diced
                • 1 cup nuts
                • 1/2 to 1 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, blueberries, etc.)
                • sugar for topping

                Instructions

                1. Mix dry ingredients.
                2. Cut in diced butter.
                3. Add nuts and fruit.
                4. Shape into discs and cut into triangles.
                5. Top with sugar or add glaze after baked.
                6. Bake at 400°F until slightly brown.
